Today was mostly good, but I got a message from my co-teacher about some apparently urgent business. I don't appreciate being insistently bothered about work on the weekend, especially when the urgency is clearly because of her actions. After I responded, she replied with a message that I understood as a passive aggressive attack on my work ethic, but it also included some kind of emoticon, and she later sent me an email recommending some reading material. Language barriers are hard, and confusing people make them even more difficult.
Japanese
Reading: 50 min
Unfortunately, all reading was Steins;Gate.

Programming
15 minutes, did one exercise and learned about quartiles in statistics.
Health
Climbing: 120 minutes
I tried and failed several red level problems at the gym, including some that I had done before. Clearly I need to keep working on getting my strength back to its former level. I also walked a lot.

Was too tired and cold at the end of the day to write.

Social

I went climbing with Erika, then we went to a craft beer place in Matsumoto, with a little walking around Hirooka while we waited for the train. It was fun. Perhaps most memorable was walking into a tiny shop in Hirooka because Erika hoped that they might have coffee but it turned out that they only sold coffee beans. The owner was really nice and we talked to her for a few minutes.
